13-Year-Old Boy Shot In Arm, Leg In East Baltimore: Police

On Monday around 6:47 p.m., officers said they heard gunfire coming from the area of East Madison Street at North Port Street.

BALTIMORE, MD — A 13-year-old boy is in the hospital recovering from injuries sustained in a shooting on Labor Day in east Baltimore, according to police.

On Monday around 6:47 p.m., officers said they heard gunfire coming from the area of East Madison Street at North Port Street.

Officers said they responded and found the boy suffering from gunshot wounds to his arm and leg.

Police said he was transported to an area hospital where he is being treated. He is expected to survive.

Eastern District shooting detectives are investigating this incident and are asking anyone with information to call 410-396-2433.
