The festival on Saturday in New York City will feature more than 40 of Dave Portnoy's highest-rated pizza parlors in America.

Two of the highest-rated pizzerias in Maryland are headed to Dave Portnoy's One Bite Pizza Festival this Saturday.
Dave Portnoy, the founder of Barstool Sports, runs a popular pizza review series online called "One Bite," where he scores pies across America on a stringent 1-to-10 scale.
Now he is featuring more than 40 of his highest-rated pizza parlors in America at an all-you-can-eat pizza festival in New York City.

Located in Baltimore's Overlea neighborhood, Frank's was also honored among the world's best at this year's International Pizza Challenge, which brought together the premier pizza makers from around the globe for an intensively judged, category-specific competition.
Frank's placed third in the best cheese slice preliminaries for the Northeast region.
Meanwhile, before Portnoy's December 2024 visit to TinyBrickOven, the pizzeria in Baltimore's Federal Hill area was struggling to stay open.
Owner Will Fagg planned to close the business on Christmas Day after the city wouldn't give the shop a license to sell alcohol, which hurt sales.
In the video of Portnoy's visit to TinyBrickOven, he asked Fagg how much money he needed to stay in business for a year. Once Fagg said $60,000, Portnoy replied, "Done."
Portnoy ranked TinyBrickOven's pizza a 7.9 out of 10.
