Baltimore City Schools Change Wednesday Schedule Because Of Snow
Baltimore City Public schools and offices have changed hours for Wednesday, Jan. 17, in the aftermath of the snowstorm.
BALTIMORE, MD — Baltimore City Public schools and offices will open two hours late on Wednesday, Jan. 17, in the aftermath of the snowstorm.
Virtual Learning Programs and the district office will open on time. Morning half-day early learning programs are canceled.
Essential and district office employees must report on time.

Schools that have mid-term exams scheduled will open on a two-hour delay and dismiss at their normal time.

Winter weather returned to the region Monday into Tuesday with many cities covered in 4 to 5 inches of snow by Tuesday morning, and cold will soon follow the storm into the state. Low temperatures will drop into the low teens the next two nights, the National Weather Service said.
Most school districts in the Baltimore region canceled classes Tuesday.

The NWS said the next chance for snow is Friday throughout the day, wrapping up by 8 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 22. Chance of precipitation is 80%
