List Of Best Indie Bookstores In US Includes MD's Greedy Reads

BALTIMORE, MD — Baltimore's Greedy Reads recently earned national recognition after USA Today included it on its list of "30 cool indie bookstores across the country that you'll want to check out."

Greedy Reads is an independent bookstore founded by Julia Fleischaker after she worked in the publishing industry for nearly 20 years, the news outlet reported.

The shop, which is the only Maryland bookstore to make the list, has two locations in Baltimore: 320 West 29th Street, Remington, and 1744 Aliceanna Street, Fells Point.

"Greedy Reads features a wide variety of books that are carefully curated," USA Today said in its story, published Monday. "Along with games and puzzles, both stores also offer select merchandise like tote bags and clever shirts that empower readers to show pride in their local bookstore."
