BALTIMORE, MD — Cities and counties across the country continue to bring back many of the traditional Independence Day activities that were either canceled or modified the last two years. July 4 is just around the corner, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on in Baltimore in 2022.

The Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore have organized a return of Fourth of July festivities to Baltimore Harbor, according to Visit Baltimore.
- Starting at 3 p.m. there will be food and drink trucks, selfie stations and more at West Shore Park.
- At 4 p.m. listen to the traditional performance by the Navy Band Commodores at the Inner Harbor Amphitheater. After the concert, there will be street performers and activities along the promenade.
- Baltimorean Wordsmith will deliver a spoken word performance of Frederick Douglass’ “What to the Slave Is the Fourth of July?” at 7:30 p.m.
- At 8 p.m., the BSO will host a Star-Spangled Celebration concert under the baton of Assistant Conductor Jonathan Rush. The full orchestra performance will culminate around 9:30 p.m. with a 13-minute fireworks display.
Other holiday activities include an Orioles game at Camden Yards and AVAM’s annual pet parade.

- 9 a.m. Pet Parade begins AVAM
- 1:05 p.m. Orioles v. Rangers; national anthem performed by the BSO Camden Yards
- 4 p.m. Navy Band Commodores performance begins at. Harborplace Amphitheater
- 6:30 p.m. Street performers and activities Waterfront Promenade
- 7:30 p.m. Spoken word performance by BSO Artistic Partner Wordsmith BGE Pavilion mainstage in Rash Field Park
- 7:30 p.m. Picnic at the Top begins Top of the World Observation Level
- 8 p.m. Star-Spangled Celebration concert by the BSO begins BGE Pavilion mainstage in Rash Field Park
- 9:30 p.m. Fireworks begin, accompanied by the BSO Waterfront Promende, BSO at the BGE Pavilion mainstage
- 9:43 p.m. Fireworks end Waterfront Promenade
