Teenager Shot To Death Wednesday On Baltimore Street: Police

A teenager died Wednesday following a shooting on West Lanvale Street, say Baltimore police.

BALTIMORE, MD — The Baltimore police are investigating the shooting death Wednesday afternoon of a teenager on a city street. Officers responded at about 1:20 p.m. to the report of a shooting in the 2800 block of West Lanvale Street.

Upon arrival, they found a 17 year-old who was suffering from a gunshot wound to his head, a police report stated. He was rushed to shock trauma, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

The police said that the individual who shot the victim is an unidentified black male wearing a tan hooded sweatshirt, a tan knit hat, blue jeans and reddish-orange shoes or boots.

After shooting the victim, he ran eastbound on West Lanvale Street.
