In Baltimore, MLK Day affects hours of government offices, libraries, public transportation and other services.

- Baltimore City offices — Close
- City parking meters— Still need to be fed
- Enoch Pratt Free Libraries — Closed
- State offices and courts — Closed
- Trash collection — While Monday is not a trash collection day, Department of Public Works facilities will be closed on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, including the following:
- Northwest Transfer Station, 5030 Reisterstown Road
- Quarantine Road Landfill, 6100 Quarantine Road
- Northwest Citizens' Convenience Center, 2840 Sisson Street
- Southwestern Citizens’ Convenience Center, 701 Reedbird Avenue
- Eastern Citizens’ Convenience Center, 6101 Bowleys Lane
- MARC Train and Commuter Bus — Operating on an R schedule (not R+) on Penn and Camden lines. The MARC Brunswick line will not run Monday due to the winter storm.
