Here's where to find New Year's Eve fireworks to ring in 2022.

MARYLAND — For those looking to ring in 2022 with a bang, several towns around the state are celebrating New Year's Eve with fireworks.

Annapolis, which canceled its New Year's Eve gatherings due to the spread of COVID-19, will still hold fireworks shows at 5:30 p.m. and midnight from City Dock. They will be launched from a barge, and boaters are urged to be cautious.

Columbia will blast off fireworks from Merriweather Post Pavilion during its "Midnight at 7" event, which culminates at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 31. Tickets are required, and vaccinations are mandatory.

Cumberland in western Maryland will hold its own ball drop with fireworks while broadcasting the Times Square ball drop on a big screen. The party starts at 10:30 p.m. and runs through midnight.

Krumpe's Donut Drop in Hagerstown runs from 5 to 7 p.m., as the city in Washington County rings in 2022 with the dropping of a doughnut. At 6:59 p.m., the Krumpe's doughnut will drop, followed by fireworks in the square of downtown Hagerstown.

Havre de Grace will set off fireworks from a barge on New Year's Eve after the city's annual Duck Drop. Fireworks will be visible near the Concord Point Lighthouse.

Lake Linganore in New Market will hold a fireworks show at the community in Frederick County at 6 p.m. on New Year's Eve.

Ocean City will set off New Year's fireworks from Northside Park, which will be closed to the public. People can watch from nearby, and DJ BK with Radio Ocean City will host remotely with a countdown at midnight. Jamaica Avenue will be closed off outside of Bourbon Street.

Rocky Gap will hold a champagne toast and fireworks from its event center in western Maryland.
