1st Baby Born In Harford County In 2025 Happens To Be A Girl Welcomed By 3 Big Brothers

The Mayors couldn't believe they were expecting a girl after having 3 little boys. Hannah was the 1st baby born in Harford Co. in 2025.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — The first baby of the New Year in Harford County arrived at 8:50 a.m. Jan. 2.

Hannah Threse Mayor was the first baby born at University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health this year. She weighed 8 pounds, 14 ounces, and is the fourth child and only daughter of Malori and Mark Mayor, both 38, of Aberdeen.

Her older brothers Mark, 5, Gus, 3, and Teddy, 2, are in "varying states of excitement," their parents told the The Baltimore Sun. The family lives at Aberdeen Proving Ground where Mark works for the U.S. Army as an assistant program manager. He holds the rank of major. Malori is a registered nurse but currently stays home with their children.

“[Mark] is definitely excited and understands what’s going on,” Malori Mayor said. “The other two don’t quite [understand], and I think they’re in for a shock.”
