3 HCPS Buildings Earn College Board's AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award

Three HCPS high schools have earned the College Board's AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award for the 2023-2024 school year.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Three Harford County high schools have earned the College Board's AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award.

This recognition highlights the work the schools do to promote gender equity in computer science and to prepare female students for careers of the future. Only 847 schools worldwide achieve the honor.

Patterson Mill Middle-High School, Aberdeen High School and Edgewood High School earned the award for the previous school year, according to Harford County Public Schools.
