Bel Air Royal Farms Sells $12,500 Lotto Ticket

A Keno player won a five-figure prize in Bel Air this week, according to the Maryland Lottery.

BEL AIR, MD — A lottery ticket worth more than $12,000 was sold recently in Bel Air, according to the Maryland Lottery.

The player bought the Keno ticket at the Royal Farms in the 1600 block of Churchville Road.

Keno is a game that challenges people to match 10 numbers.

Purchased at the Bel Air store on Tuesday, Nov. 2, the ticket was worth $12,500, officials said.

It had not been claimed a week later, according to authorities.

Statewide, officials said players in Maryland won more than $38 million in lottery prizes for the week that ended Nov. 7. The largest was a $2.2 million Multi-Match ticket sold on Eden in the Eastern Shore.
