Counselor Offers Virtual Appointments For Harford County Residents
A Bel Air-based counselor offers telehealth services to Harford County residents and beyond.
BEL AIR, MD — Individuals needing a counseling session don't always have the time to sit in a medical office and wait to be seen. A Bel Air counselor offers telehealth appointments in the hopes of helping everyone have access to mental health sessions when it works best for them.
Claire Raveia offers appointments weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. She started her business, Claire Raveia Counseling, in May 2023.
"I am deeply motivated to reach out to those who are often overlooked or forgotten, especially during the darkest moments of their lives. No one should have to face their struggles alone, no matter how overwhelming things may feel. I specialize in those struggling with substance use, grief and the distress that accompanies end-of-life/terminal illness," Raveia told Patch.

Her clients are adults of all ages who are motivated to explore and overcome obstacles that prevent them from living a more fulfilling and purposeful life in alignment with their personal goals and values, she said.
"Clients consistently express appreciation for the compassionate, individualized care they receive. They notice significant reductions in their symptoms and distress, often feeling more understood and supported than they have in the past. Many value the safe, nonjudgmental environment that fosters healing and personal growth, helping them regain a sense of balance and control in their lives," Raveia told Patch.
