Fire Causes $50K In Damage To Modular Home In Abingdon
A modular home in Abingdon sustained $50K in damage after a fire broke out in the living room, according to the state fire marshal's office.

ABINGDON, MD — The state fire marshal's office is investigating a blaze that broke out in the living room of a one-story modular home in Abingdon Saturday late morning.
According to the Maryland Office of the State Fire Marshal, the fire broke out around 11:15 a.m. at the home located in the 1000 block of Bush Road. A resident discovered the fire that took around 30 firefighters 20 minutes to gain control of the fire, which is being investigated.
The state fire marshal estimated damage and loss to be estimated at around $50,000. The residents have been displaced by the fire and are being helped by Harford County Disaster Assistance and Red Cross.
