Firefighter Among 2 Injured In Harford County House Fire

ABERDEEN, MD — A firefighter was among two people injured Friday night in a house fire in Aberdeen that also claimed the lives of two dogs, authorities said.

According to the Maryland Office of the State Fire Marshal, fire crews responded to 1375 Tralee Circle shortly before 10:30 p.m. after receiving a call about a fire at the residence.

Authorities said the fire was contained to a basement bedroom. The basement sustained extensive heat, smoke, soot and water damage, while the upper floors saw moderate smoke and soot damage.

One firefighter and one of the home's occupants suffered minor injuries but refused transport to the hospital.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
