Harford Community College's student-athletes have claimed top regional honors.
The school announced Tuesday that seven student athletes were named to the NJCAA Region XX Academic Team, more than the region's 26 other schools for a fourth consecutive year.
Students on the list must earn at least a 3.6 grade-point average for at least 36 credit hours and be a starter or reserve on a team, according to the release.
The players named to the academic player include softball player Hanna Ayestas, golfer Alex Bravo; women's tennis players Emilie Keith and Sheby Mink; men's soccer player Chris King; women's cross country player Jennifer Lewis; and women's soccer player Christina Verzi.
