Haunted House In Abingdon Helps Two Charities For Halloween
A haunted house in Abingdon is taking donations on weekends for two causes. It also offers a craft event and features live actors.

ABINGDON, MD — Walking up to one Abingdon home is designed to be a horrifying experience. For Halloween, the yard has transformed to recreate scenes from classic horror movies, including an interactive Carnevil.
"We build a lot of our own props," Amanda Ehinger said.
Live actors will add to the spooky vibe on Saturday nights, according to Ehinger.

Organizers say they will be welcoming donations for their "Stuff a Coffin event" to support Pitties and Purrs rescue this Saturday and Sunday. Pet food, supplies, treats or toys will be accepted in a coffin placed at the end of the driveway.

On Halloween, organizers will be taking donations for Susan G. Komen breast cancer research.
The house at 121 Taunton Ct, Abingdon, MD 21009 will be lit up from 6 to 10 p.m., with live actors on Saturday nights.
A craft event for children is also planned from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 23. Children will be able to paint spooky goblins, according to organizers.
