Deadly Edgewood Hit-And-Run Crash: Police Charge Driver
A 31-year-old was hit while walking on Pulaski Highway in Harford County, according to Maryland State Police. He later died, officials said.

BEL AIR, MD — A man has been charged with manslaughter and other offenses related to a deadly hit-and-run crash in Edgewood, police reported Tuesday.
Anthony Lee Wilson, 27, of Edgewood, is being held without bail at the Harford County Detention Center on charges of negligent manslaughter by vehicle and criminal negligent manslaughter by vehicle, court records show.
More charges may be pending, according to Maryland State Police, which is overseeing the crash investigation.

The manslaughter charges stem from a crash Monday afternoon on US 40/Pulaski Highway near Reeds Run Road.
Wilson had been driving a 2019 Nissan Versa east on Pulaski Highway when he hit a 31-year-old man who was walking on or near the right shoulder of the road after 12 p.m., police said.

The victim died Monday night after being flown to the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, officials reported. He is not being publicly identified until authorities have notified his next of kin.
After the crash, the right eastbound lane of Pulaski Highway was closed for about two-and-a-half hours. Police asked for help locating the vehicle involved, as it did not remain at the scene.
Troopers said they identified the vehicle through investigation and contacted Wilson, who went to the Bel Air Barrack, where he was later arrested.
