Have You Seen Purple Streetlights In Bel Air? BGE Wants To Know
BGE wants to know where the lights are turning purple or blue.

BEL AIR, MD — If you see a streetlight in Bel Air that looks purple, it is not by design, according to Bel Air Mayor Amy Chmielewski.
"I know it’s Ravens season, but not all of us are necessarily Ravens fans," Chmielewski said at the Town Hall meeting Monday night in Bel Air.
She shared a letter from BGE explaining the blue and purple lights in neighborhoods are actually defective.

Purple streetlights from defective LEDs have been reported across the country, including in South Carolina and Kansas.
"While these lights do add a touch of Purple to the town that reminds us of our favorite football team, we encourage you to report these streetlights and sport some purple Ravens gear instead, this season!" BGE said in a statement.
