Maryland’s 9/11 Rolling Memorial was unveiled and dedicated on Sept. 11, 2016. It is Maryland’s first and only 9/11 rolling memorial and was created in remembrance and honor of the 69 Marylanders killed on Sept. 11, 2001, and the 158 others who have made the sacrifice in the war on terror since that day.
The memorial has been showcased in parades and taken to schools, Scout meetings, and community events to be used as a teaching tool.
