Black Friday 2017: Mall Hours In Bethesda Area

BETHESDA, MD — The retail apocalypse may soon be coming, but that won't stop shoppers from waking up for early doorbuster deals on Black Friday. With bellies full of turkey and eyes on savings, Maryland shoppers will hit the state's malls looking for the best deals on holiday gifts. Some will begin shopping on Thanksgiving, while many will wait until Black Friday to kick off the holiday season.

Debate over whether to shop on Thanksgiving has been fierce in recent years as Black Friday spills over into Thanksgiving evening; some object to employees having to work that night, while some workers love getting paid double or triple time.

Whether you decide to shop on Thanksgiving or wait until Friday, Westfield Montgomery will open on Thanksgiving Day from 6 p.m. to midnight, and reopen on Friday, Nov. 28, at 6 a.m. until 10 p.m.

Hours at some Montgomery County malls on Black Friday are:

• Clarksburg Premium Outlets: Open Black Friday from 12AM to 10PM.
• Lakeforest Mall - Gaithersburg: Mall hours are 6AM-10PM on Black Friday.
• Westfield Montgomery – Bethesda: Mall hours are open until 11:59pm on Thanksgiving; open Friday, Nov. 24, 6am - 10pm. Hours vary by store.
• Westfield Wheaton: Mall hours are open until 11:59pm on Thanksgiving; open Friday, Nov. 24, 6am - 10pm. Hours vary by store.
• Ellsworth Place - Silver Spring: The shopping center hours are not posted; check with individual stores.

Located at 7101 Democracy Blvd. at the intersection of I-270 and I-495 in Bethesda, Westfield Montgomery Shopping center provides customers with fashion, food and film in its more than 1.2 million square feet of retail space. The center's regular hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. through 6 p.m.
