Man Riding Motorcycle Dies In Collision With SUV In Bethesda
A man riding a motorcycle was killed Wednesday morning in a collision with an SUV on Wisconsin Ave. in Bethesda, police said.
BETHESDA, MD — A man riding a motorcycle was killed Wednesday morning in a collision with an SUV in the area of Wisconsin Ave. and Chestnut St. in Bethesda, according to the Montgomery County Police Department.
Shortly after 7 a.m., police officers and Montgomery County Fire Rescue personnel responded to the crash. The man riding the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The man's name will be released following proper notification of next of kin, according to police.
The woman driving the SUV was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash forced the closure of a section of Wisconsin Avenue from Woodmont Ave. to Battery Lane.
Soon after the collision, fire crews and medics were on the scene dealing with a traumatic injury, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service spokesman Pete Piringer said on Twitter.
