Dalia's Falafel To Open New Location In Downtown Bethesda
Dalia's Falafel is expanding to downtown Bethesda, with work underway on the new location on Old Georgetown Road.

BETHESDA, MD — Dalia's Falafel is expanding to downtown Bethesda, with work underway on the new location, according to a report.
Dalia's Falafel currently operates a food stand on Howard Avenue in Kensington. Co-owners Ben Assaraf, Cody Chatham and Kevin Gill have been friends since high school and always talked about starting a food business, according to the food stand’s website.
The business is named after Assaraf's mother, Dalia, who supplied family recipes for the falafel and its accompanying sauces. The food stand serves falafel in a pita or bowl fully loaded with tomatoes, cucumbers, onions and other vegetables and sauces.

Dalia’s Falafel’s new restaurant will be at 7750 Old Georgetown Road, according to Robert Dyer @ Bethesda Row.

"Coming soon" and some permanent signage has been installed at the site, “which seems like a good fit for an eatery with a focused menu designed primarily for take-out sales,” Robert Dyer reported.

Dalia’s Falafel is hoping to open the new restaurant in the next month, Assaraf told Patch. If the Bethesda location works out, the restaurant may look at expanding to other locations in the D.C. area, he said.
