Friday, January 23

• Sandy Spring Theatre presents The 39 Steps at Gaithersburg Arts Barn at 8 p.m.
• Rockville Little Theatre presents Go Back for Murder at the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre in Rockville at 8 p.m.
• Bethesda Blues & Jazz Club presentBe’la Dona at 8 p.m.
• The Budapest Festival Orchestraperforms at the Music Center at Strathmore at 8 p.m.

Saturday, January 24

• Parents and children join in the fun at the Children’s Movie Sing-Along and Royal Tea at Gaithersburg’s Arts Barn at 1 p.m.
• Check out a makerspace program of creative beading at the Quince Orchard Library at 4 p.m. (Must register)
• Celebrate the inauguration of Larry Hogan at the People’s Celebration at 6 p.m. at the Sailwinds Park in Cambridge on the Eastern Shore
• Sandy Spring Theatre presents The 39 Steps at Gaithersburg Arts Barn at 8 p.m.
• Rockville Little Theatre presents Go Back for Murder at the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre in Rockville at 8 p.m.
• Singer Songwriter Victoria Vox performs at the BlackRock Center for the Arts in Germantown at 8 p.m.
• Bethesda Blues & Jazz Club present Carl’s Rare Roast Beef Band at 8 p.m.
• The National Philharmonic perform Bach’s Brandenburgs at Strathmore at 8 p.m. A free pre-concert lecture is available at 6:45 p.m.

• Bands in the Back To Rock (B2R) Band program perform in the Bachapalooza at the Bethesda Blues & Jazz Club at 9 a.m.
• The Winter Olney Farmers and Artists Market will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Families are invited to the Gaithersburg Community Museum for the first Discovery Day of 2015 from 1 to 4 p.m.
