MCPS Graduation Set For June 7, High School Ceremonies Announced

Montgomery County Public Schools' virtual graduation ceremony is June 7. Individual high school commencement ceremonies are June 8 to 12.

BETHESDA, MD — Instead of walking across the stage to receive their diplomas, more than 11,300 students graduating from Montgomery County Public Schools will be honored in a virtual ceremony.

In messages posted on MCPS' website, school officials said they "decided to take a hybrid approach to graduation" and will be hosting a "universal virtual graduation for the entire Class of 2020 and their families" at 6 p.m. on June 7.

The ceremony can be viewed online at www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org, on MCPS TV (Comcast 34, Verizon 36, RCN 89), and on NBC COZI TV (Broadcast Digital 4-2 and on Cable).
