Update, 6:44p.m.:  All lanes of Rockville Pike have re-opened. Original post: The northbound lanes of Rockville Pike are completely shut down at Elsmere Ave. following a motorcycle accident, according to Capt.  Oscar Garcia, a Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service spokesman. A male motorcyclist is being transported to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, Garcia said. The accident happened at 4:39p.m. It wasn't clear whether another vehicle was involved in the accident, and it wasn't immediately known when the lanes would re-open.
