
Montgomery County police recently released a summary of crimes in the county from June 20-28. Following is a summary of recent crimes in Bethesda.
June 20
- The rear of an apartment building was vandalized in the 4700 block of Willard Avenue, sometime between Monday, June 20, and Thursday, June 23.
- A home was burglarized in the 8700 block of Bradmoor Drive in the overnight hours from Monday, June 20, to Tuesday, June 21. There was no forced entry and property was stolen.
June 21

- Three vehicles were stolen in the overnight hours between Tuesday, June 21, and Wednesday, June 22, in the 5200 block of Portsmouth Road, the 5100 block of Westport Road, and the 5200 block of Saratoga Avenue.
June 23
- A home was burglarized in the 5300 block of Wakefield Road between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. There was no forced entry and property was stolen.
- Ten thefts from vehicles happened between 1:15 a.m. and 2 a.m. along Namakagan Drive, Nahant Street, Brookeway Drive, Cleves Lane, and Fort Sumner Drive. There was no signs of forced entry into the cars. Items including cash, cameras, iPods and cell phones were stolen.
