Police Identify Motorcyclist Killed In Collision With SUV In Bethesda
Montgomery County Police identified the motorcyclist who was killed in a collision with an SUV Wednesday morning on Wisconsin Ave.
BETHESDA, MD — Montgomery County Police identified the motorcyclist who was killed in a collision with an SUV Wednesday morning on Wisconsin Ave. as a man from Chevy Chase.
The collision occurred shortly after 7 a.m. on Wednesday in Bethesda, where Chestnut St. intersects with Wisconsin Ave.
Abdesselam Beggar, 24, was traveling north on Wisconsin Ave. on his 2018 Yamaha XV1900 when a 2001 Toyota 4Runner, traveling southbound, attempted to turn left onto Chestnut St. The SUV turned into the path of Beggar’s motorcycle and the vehicles collided, police said Thursday.

Beggar was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
The Montgomery County Police Department’s Collision Reconstruction Unit is continuing to investigate the collision. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact detectives at 240-773-6620.
