Police Search For Missing Bethesda Teenager

Montgomery County Police are asking for the community's help as they search for a missing Bethesda teenager.

Michael Jeffrey Gura, 17, of the 4900 block of Sentinel Drive, was last seen July 3. Police are describing Gura as a white male, about six feet tall and 140 pounds, with brown eyes and short, curly brown hair.  Gura was last seen driving a gold, four-door 1999 Chrysler Sebring with Maryland tags GGY-275.

It's uncharacteristic of the boy to not be in contact with his family, according to police.

Police are encouraging anyone with information about where Gura may be to call the Montgomery County police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000. The line is operational 24 hours a day and callers may remain anonymous.
