Target To Hold Job Fair For New Bethesda Store

BETHESDA, MD — Target has scheduled a job fair as it begins to hire an estimated 75 team members for its new store in Bethesda. The smaller version of its traditional mega-sized discount store will be located in the Shops of Wisconsin at 6831 Wisconsin Ave., and is scheduled to open in April 2017.

This new store will be Target’s 67th store in the greater Washington/Baltimore area, and the company’s third flexible-format location in the market, following the Rosslyn, Virginia, and College Park, Maryland, stores. Target’s flexible store design allows for stores in smaller locations with assortments that are tailored to meet the needs of local guests.

Store leaders will conduct pre-scheduled interviews with applicants and discuss Target’s dynamic, team-oriented culture. Interested candidates are encouraged to visit Target.com/careers to apply in advance.

The jobs fair will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, and Wednesday, Feb. 8, at the Bethesda Hilton Garden Inn, 7301 Waverly St.

Following the hiring of Target’s new Bethesda store team members, there will be about 7,760 Target team members in the greater Washington/Baltimore area.
