A Special Mother's Day
St. Andrew by the Bay preschoolers lovingly share their gifts with moms.
The gift of love was alive and well at this week. Students provided moms with stories, songs and handmade gifts that showed moms just how special they really are.
The three-year-old Monday, Wednesday, Friday class welcomed moms (and grandmas) with open arms on Friday, literally— serving them a special snack, singing some mommy appreciation musical numbers, and providing their guests with memorable laughs and hugs and kisses in between it all.
The students also brought flowers to lay at the statue of the Mother Mary in the school's entrance area with their guests.

Students were very vocal about the many qualities of their own moms, including how great she cooks, cleans and does laundry.
"She makes great cakes," said one youngster.

"She reads good stories at night," said another.
At the end of their special time together, the students provided a potted sunflower that was served with a big smile and hug.
