Anne Arundel County Organization Places in National Food Safety Contest

The Assisted Living/Housing Program's video demonstrates the importance of hygienic food handling.

In a contest sponsored by the Partnership for Food Safety Education, the Assisted Living/Housing Program from the Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities placed second for its video, “Clean, Separate, Cook and Chill.”

The mission behind the America’s Top BAC Fighter Video Contest is to find new and compelling ways for educators to share the importance of consumer health, food safety, and hygienic food handling.

Second-place winner the Anne Arundel County Assisted Living/Housing Program provides care and services to area residents in assisted-living homes, along with free monthly training classes for facility staff members.
