Success at the Culinary Cup Competition

Anne Arundel Community College’s student culinary team recently captured first place, successfully defending its title, at the Third Annual Chesapeake Culinary Cup, an American Culinary Federation sanctioned competition.

Competing on their home turf at AACC’s Hotel Culinary Arts and Tourism (HCAT) Institute at the Glen Burnie Town Center, students competed against other regional college culinary arts programs. Each school entered a four-person team with two savory and two pastry contestants. The scores of all four students from each school were tabulated for an overall team score.
