Best Patch Pick – Pharmacy

Who knew that Broadneck residents were so loyal and supportive of their local pharmacy?

During the month of February, residents have been emailing their votes for their choice in our Best Patch Pick contest for local pharmacies. The nominees included Arnold Professional Pharmacy, Broadneck Pharmacy and Cape Drugs/Apothecary.

Broadneck Pharmacy came in first, with Cape Drugs a close second.

Though we usually have voters that simply email the name of their choice, in this particular contest we had many who shared their personal stories of how their favorite pharmacy offered superior customer service and changed their life.

• “When my son was young he was on diluted insulin and they had to order special vials and diluents for this.  There was never a problem in obtaining his supplies.  Marcus shows concern for how much people pay for their medical needs and will try to work with you to find the cheapest way to obtain your prescriptions.  It is a family business with personal family pictures inside which makes you feel closer to the owner and not just another prescription coming in the door.” —Roseanne Felice 
• "When I had a serious illness, Bud even delivered meds to my house after hours when my physician suddenly changed the prescription.  They are more like family than a customer and will get an equally pleasant and heartfelt hello when crossing paths at the local grocery store, sporting event or restaurant. I will not go to a chain again if possible." —Wade A. Hannum
• "My son has a chronic illness and over the years Broadneck Pharmacy has been there supporting me with encouraging words, a smile, and helping with the various medications needed to keep my son healthy." — Peggy Quigley

Though it came in second, Cape Drugs/Apothecary also has many fans who appreciate the store's personal attention, quality service, and willingness to go the extra mile for customers.
