Musicals, artists, and gaming available for local kids this weekend.
When/Where:Β Friday and Saturday, 7:30 p.m., in the Activity Building of The Key School in Annapolis
Why Go:Β The Key School presents this musical based on the popular Peanuts cartoon characters. The show starts with six bored five- and six-year-olds who, upon discovering an old trunk full of dress-up clothes, decide to use their imagination to act out their favorite Peanuts characters.

When/Where:Β Saturday, 4 p.m., Chesapeake Arts Center in Brooklyn Park
Why Go:Β This show is for cowboy fans everywhere. Audiences will hear the story of Annie, who has always wanted to be a cowgirl. Problem is, she can't rope, she falls off her horse and she's become the laughing stock of all the other cowpokes.
Price:Β $10 for adults, $5 for children.
When/Where:Β Thursday, 5 β 6 p.m., Broadneck Library
Why Go:Β Children in first through third grades will discuss the adventures of Bink and Gollie by Kate DiCamillo with a Broadneck librarian.

When/Where:Β Saturday, 10 a.m. β 12 p.m. at the Severna Park Library
Why Go:Β Children ages ten and up are welcome to visit local artists who will demonstrate their skills, exhibit their creations and answer questions.

When/Where:Β Friday at Broadneck Evangelical Presbyterian Church on Bay Dale Drive. Elementary school students are welcome from 4 - 5 p.m.; middle school students from 5 β 7 p.m. and high school students from 7 β 9 p.m.
Why Go:Β The event offers laser tag, dancing, video games, face painting, crazy games and more. Wear green and get a free soda. Proceeds benefit Broadneck High Schoolβs 5thΒ Quarter program.
Price:Β Elementary students $10; middle and high school students $15. Bring three paying friends and get in for free!
Note for Parents:Β The Arnold Christian Academy will have an Open House for parents on Saturday, 2 β 4 p.m., at the New Covenant Church, 365 Jones Station Road at College Parkway in Arnold.
