Patch Picks: Celebrating St. Patrick's Day

Here are some suggestions for "going green" in style today.

St. Patrick's Day was made an official feast day in the early 17th century, and has gradually become a celebration of Irish culture. The day is filled with the wearing of green (the color of shamrocks) and the lifting of Lenten restrictions on fasting and drinking.

For our Patch Picks today, we list nearby celebrations to help get your β€œgreen” on.
