PHOTO: Sheen of Ice Over Deep Creek

The Cape Blogger, who writes regularly for the Broadneck Patch, captured this photo of Deep Creek on Thursday, just after cold weather froze a part of it over.

"Brrr, it was a cold one today! As evidence, I offer up a picture of Deep Creek with a light crust of ice on the surface as the sun is setting. Even that brilliant sun's rays couldn't melt off the chill. Although, for January, not too bad.  I've seen the creek look a lot more solid in years past," she wrote.
