Police Search for Gunman, Closing I-295

Interstate now open but search continues for man reportedly with gun along the highway.

Glen Burnie Patch is providing news updates on the incident that closed I-295 in both directions this afternoon.

A man armed with a long gun was seen along the highway, although it is not known if shots were fired. No one has been injured.

The suspect is described as a white male, between 40 to 60 years old, wearing a black and red flannel shirt and blue jeans.

The interstate has been reopened, though a search in the area of I-295 at Rt. 195 is underway with K-9, helicopters and police officers on foot.
