Snowbust? Winter Storm Warning Downgraded to Advisory

One to 3 inches of snow are still possible in the area.

Though snow is still falling throughout Anne Arundel County, the National Weather Service has downgraded the area's winter storm warning to a winter weather advisory, dropping projected accumulation totals down to 1 to 3 inches.

Last night, the advisory was upgraded to a warning, calling for three to 6 inches of the fluffy white stuff, canceling schools and closing the federal government Tuesday.

So much for snow forts and snowmen—projected totals now stand and a paltry 1 to 3 inches, barely enough to make a snow angel or to hold a reputable snowball fight.

So what do you think? Is this a snowbust, or do you think the weather advisory will be upgraded again later today?
