Viewfinder: Broadneck Dancers Shine

This week’s Viewfinder photo gallery features scenes from the recent spring dance show at  (BHS). Dancers from the high school dance company, as well as the teams from our two local middle schools and elementary schools, performed incredible dance numbers this past weekend.

The BHS dance team is one of the most popular community ambassadors for our area, performing in various community events throughout the school year.

Members of this year’s Broadneck Dance Company include:  Emma Mulford, Amanda Freeman, Sarah Walker, Lucy Burton, Kristen Cann, Taylor Schuman, Victoria Sames, Chelsea Brown, Mackenzie Moore, Shanley Codd, Nicole Rivera, Krisya St. Cyr, Breann Rowe, Eva Kennedy, Leah Becker, Carley Dizon, Cassie Hendrie, Kelly Jan, Katie Logan, Hannah McVey, Lindsey Patterson and Kinsey Stanton-Penkert.

These ladies put in a lot of work, including dance classes every other day during the school year, to produce such quality work.

This year, five out of the 14 dancers chosen for the Anne Arundel County Dance Ensemble were from Broadneck, including:  Chelsea Brown, Carley Dizon, Mackenzie Moore, Nicole Rivera and Victoria Sames.

The director for the Broadneck Dance Company is Melissa Bell.
