Viewfinder: Local Gymnasts Shine

For this week’s Viewfinder gallery, local photographer Christine Middleton took some photos of the gymnastics meet that was held Wednesday evening at Broadneck High School.

In Maryland, only Montgomery and Anne Arundel counties offer gymnastics. Broadneck is one of five county high schools to sponsor a team. The others include:  Severna Park, Arundel, Old Mill, and Annapolis.

In the first meet this season at Severna Park, Broadneck finished second overall.

Broadneck team members are Amanda Appleton, Adrianna Bautista, Crisanne Borman, Leah Bruich, Anna Dubiansky, Kat Garvey, Kate Heffeman, McKensey Hoover, Abby Hoyt, Lauren Maness, Ali Miller, Rachel Miller, Kristin Mogelinski, Zach O’Brien, Maggie Pedersen, Liz Santos, Kassey Schneider, Gabby Wubbenhorst, and Anna Youngk.
