World Tai Chi and Qigong Day
At 10am on the last Saturday of April each year, groups gather in every time zone around the world to practice Tai Chi & Qigong in friendship & wellness together. A wave of health and healing for people and the planet circles the earth as 10:00 am reaches each new time zone.
Jing Ying Institute of Kung Fu & Tai Chi will take part in this worldwide event providing demos of Tai Chi & Qigong followed by mini-workshops suitable for all levels of fitness. All are welcome, especially those who are not familiar with Tai Chi or Qigong.

There also will be information about the benefits of Tai Chi (Taijiquan) & Qigong, coupons for tai chi/qigong classes, & other giveaways.
Activities will be on the grassy area by Holy Grounds at the Severna Park Community Center (623 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd, Severna Park). If it rains, the event will be held inside the Severna Park Community Center’s gym.

As a follow-up to World Tai Chi & Qigong Day, an in-depth tai chi/qigong workshop will be held at Jing Ying Institute in Arnold on May 9. This workshop is open to beginners as well as the more experienced tai chi students. Details are located at www.JingYing.org or you may call 410-431-5200.
