Members of the paramedic unit, Firefighter Medics Brian Goldfeder and Grant Walker, treated Angela before transporting her to the hospital.
After being released, Angela wanted to thank the duo that treated the extensive lacerations to her head on location that day. On Dec. 8, she visited the College Park Fire/EMS Station with her daughter and friend with homemade fudge and other sweets for her two heroes.

Walker explained that he had never met a patient that he had helped and it was such an award to speak with Angela.
“It meant so much to me to be able to meet these two men who made the unimaginable so much more bearable. Accidents are frightening enough but they tended to my injuries with professionalism and genuine care,” Angela said in a news release. “It was nice to bring closure to the experience by meeting them face to face. I am so grateful to have survived the accident and that I could actually be there to thank them in person.”
