1.) WEATHER » Heat and humidity will be high today. Temperatures will be in the mid- to upper-90s and humidity will range from 55 to 63 percent. There’s a chance for isolated showers and thunderstorms between 1 p.m. and 11 p.m. The evening temperatures will be in the mid-70s but humidity will jump to 78 percent. Children, people suffering from asthma, heart or lung diseases and the elderly should avoid strenuous outdoor activity.
