Downtown College Park Farmers Market Runs Sunday, 10-2

In its third year of operation, the Downtown College Park Farmers Market is now under new management and will offer producer-only fruits and vegetables, while no longer allowing items purchased on wholesale. The management team is currently recruiting vendors to provide a diverse set of products that enable the DCPFM to become a premier market in the region. In addition to an expanded vendor list, the market will feature weekly events such as chef demos and discussions with a professional nutritionist. 

The market is now open on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and will run every Sunday through November 17th. 

The market takes place in the City Hall Parking Lot at 4500 Knox Road. Free parking is available on Sundays, including the downtown parking garage on the corner of Knox Road and Yale Avenue.

• Bill's Backyard BBQ: various meats and salmon
• Grandma Vera's Bakery: bread and baked goods
• Heavenly Created Desserts: cupcakes, pies, and other desserts
• Mad Mud Studio: handmade pottery
• Miller Farms: produce, eggs, ice cream, and baked goods
• Pleitez Produce: organic produce
• Toigo Orchards: apples, tomatoes, salsas, butter and more
