Another day, another 20 medal events at London's 2012 Summer Olympics.

Men's Cycling | Time trial: The men's cycling time trial takes place with a single race including 40 participants, with the fastest rider claiming the gold after riding 44km.
11:05 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Swimming | Qualifying heats: Qualifying heats include men's (200m backstroke and 200m individual medley) and women's (4x200m freestyle, 200m breaststroke and 100m freestyle).
11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Men's Beach Volleyball | Qualifying round: United States at Latvia — Jake Gibb and Sean Rosenthal of Team USA face Aleksandrs Samoilovs and Ruslans Sorokins of Latvia; Gibb and Rosenthal finished fifth at the 2008 Olympics.
12:30 p.m. - 1:15 p.m.
Swimming | Qualifying heats: Qualifying heats include: men's (200m backstroke and 200m individual medley) and women's (4x200m freestyle, 200m breaststroke and 100m freestyle).
1:15 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Women's Water Polo | Preliminary round: United States at Spain — United States is coming off a 14-13 win over Hungary, as Olympic newcomer Maggie Steffens scored seven goals, while Spain defeated China, 11-6.
2:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Canoeing | Men's whitewater slalom gold medal: Germany has captured the gold medal in three of the last four Olympics, while Great Britain has taken home the silver in two of the last three Games.
3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Women's Volleyball | Qualifying round: United States at China — Destinee Hooker lead gold-medal favorite Team USA with 22 kills in a 3-1 win over defending gold medalist Brazil, while China is 2-0 after beating Turkey, 3-1.
8:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.
Swimming Finals, Men's Gymnastics, Men's Diving, Women's Beach Volleyball | Finals for men's and women's swimming events, men's all-around gymnastics and men's synchronized springboard diving; women's beach volleyball also featured.
