Two people were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries Wednesday afternoon following an eight-vehicle crash on Interstate 495, authorities said. The accident occurred on the eastbound inner loop of the Beltway near University Boulevard, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services spokesman Scott Graham. All lanes on the Beltway have since reopened, and the vehicles involved have been towed, a Maryland State Police spokeswoman said.
