Columbia Computer Specialist Faces Child Porn Charges
A Columbia resident who works as an IT computer specialist has been charged with possessing child porn and soliciting child porn.
COLUMBIA, MD — Detectives have arrested a Columbia resident in connection to child pornography possession and soliciting a person for child pornography.
According to the Howard County Sheriff's Office, detectives in their warrant apprehension unit arrested Michael Hincke, an IT computer specialist. He's been indicted on numerous counts of possession of child pornography and the solicitation of a person for child pornography, the sheriff's office stated. Hincke had $10,000 bond set.
"Our HCSO detectives are committed to protecting the children within our community and apprehending suspects to face their charges," the sheriff's office stated.

In other police news, on Aug. 29, the Howard County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the Allegany County Sheriff's Office requesting help with tracking down Angela Dennison who was wanted on two failure to comply warrants after cutting off her court-ordered monitor and escaping the western Maryland area.
HCSO detectives found Dennison at a home in Columbia where she was taken into custody without incident. She is currently being held in the Howard County Detention Center without bond.

Recently, Domonick Brown of Ellicott City pleaded guilty to CDS possession with intent to distribute and was sentenced to six years in prison. Earlier this year, detectives executed a search and seizure warrant at Brown's residence and recovered more than 200 grams of crack cocaine, a firearm, ammunition, distribution amounts of scheduled prescription drugs and drug paraphernalia.
