Firefighter Injured In Laurel Townhouse Fire
A Howard County firefighter was injured Sunday morning battling a fire that broke out in a townhouse in Laurel.

LAUREL, MD — A Howard County firefighter was injured Sunday morning while battling a blaze in Laurel.
The fire broke out in a townhouse located in the 9000 block of Garden Ranges in Laurel, Howard County. Firefighters arrived at the scene to find heavy fire in the garage that had spread to the first and second floors. They quickly extinguished the fire, the fire department reported.
The injured firefighter was taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The Red Cross will be helping the residents.
