Maryland Weather Forecast: Chill and Rain to Start the Week

We'll start the week with cool temps, and near-freezing lows Sunday night, but things will soon warm up for a pleasant week, according to the National Weather Service.

A dry, cold Sunday night will see lows around 32 degrees. Temperatures will only reach the 50s on Monday, with rain expected to move into the region Monday night.

Skies will clear Tuesday afternoon, with temperatures warming to 60 degrees, with winds up to 8 mph.

The temperatures will stay in the low 60s, but push higher as we head into the weekend.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 61. West wind around 8 mph

Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 32. Southwest wind 3 to 5 mph.

Monday: Increasing clouds, with a high near 58. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph.

Monday Night: A chance of rain. Cloudy, with a low around 39. Light and variable wind becoming north around 6 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Tuesday: A slight chance of rain before 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 60. Northwest wind 6 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 60.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 60.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 65.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 63.
