Police ID Columbia Man Killed In Montgomery County Crash
Police said the crash happened shortly after 3:20 a.m. on Sandy Spring Road in Montgomery County.
COLUMBIA, MD — Authorities have identified a Columbia man killed in a Wednesday crash in Montgomery County.
Police said the crash happened shortly after 3:20 a.m. in the area of Sandy Spring and McKnew Roads in Burtonsville.
When police and fire crews arrived at the scene, police found 30-year-old Jazz Andrew Taylor inside a red 2007 Honda CR-V. Despite lifesaving efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said that for reasons still unknown, a gray 2024 Honda CR-V was traveling east in the westbound lanes of Sandy Spring Road when it struck Taylor's car, which was traveling in the westbound lanes.
The man driving the gray CR-V was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
